It seems like if you want a decent hotel in the area, expect to pay $300 or more a night, otherwise the $150-$200+ rooms are more on par with low budget motels. As we stayed in a different hotel on the first leg of the trip that was even more expensive, but not much better and the reviews of the various hotels hinted as such. For the price it was definitely not worth it, more on par of a $59 room but that seems to be a trend in the area. The only reason I even gave it a 2/5 stars is, because they accommodated my room requests for both rooms to be next to each other, so they were adjoining. Luckily we only needed to stay overnight to get some sleep, before we hit the road again, otherwise I would have not wanted to stay around more than the few hours we did. I don’t think they were dirty, just old and should have been taken out of commission. Our rooms were very humid, to the point the bathroom door wouldn’t shut due to it being swollen, there were water stains on the ceiling, ink all over the walls, stains on the shower curtains and bedding. So the reviews of this hotel was mixed, but I have no idea why as this hotel was very run down.
